Karissa Kim is a teacher, performer, and stage director who is passionate about storytelling in many mediums. As an artist, she offers a unique interpretation as well as a genuine enjoyment and love of the process and the people involved in the arts. Her teaching focuses on healthy and efficient sound production, body/mind integration, and joyful practice and performance techniques.
Karissa has a Bachelors in Vocal Performance from Utah Valley University and a Masters in Vocal Performance from Texas State University. She has years of experience in musical theatre and classical singing. Karissa has been teaching piano and voice for over 12 years. She loves directing and working behind the scenes almost as much as she loves performing on the stage.
