Group Voice Class is the perfect environment for students to explore, learn about their voice, improve vocalization, and build confidence!

Group voice lessons are not a choir, although they will have elements of ensemble singing as well as an opportunity to participate in a recital at the end of the block. Group lessons provide students with the basic foundations of singing technique along with an introduction to vocal performance, repertoire, and appreciation.

Concepts we will learn include tone, pitch, rhythm, solfege, basic note reading, diction, harmony, breath control, ear training and performance. Music we may study includes Disney, folk, sacred, classical and musical theatre.

I aim to provide each student with individual coaching and attention.

We focus weekly on practicing basic singing techniques and how they apply to each song we study. Students will grow in confidence as they participate in singing, play music games, and build new friendships in class!
